mrSimon’s Disruptor is a serious contender for some of the wickedest music i’ve heard in a long time and serves as an absolutely brilliant example of how original and passionate derivative work (in this case both content-wise and in regards to the very Pogo-influenced style of voice and incidental music sampling) can really be. with this release mrSimon has essentially written the introductory book on what being inspired by other artists and using what resonates with you is all about, and it’s this summer’s must-read.
